Pre-season Strength Training for Mountain Biking

Who:  Ages 16 +

Where:  Anywhere in the world; On line delivery, with a personalized twist!

Cost:  $120 + GST

Designed with the pre-season in mind!  Get ready to ride longer, faster, stronger and with more confidence! 

This 13 week onlinprogressive strength training program will prepare you for the mountain bike season by:

  • Establishing a solid base and improving your overall strength through the refinement of foundational movement patterns.

  • Sport specific exercises that target attributes essential for the mountain biking.

  • Building a strong foundation through anterior and posterior core specific exercises.  

  • Help prevent common injuries by ironing out imbalances.  

  • Increase mobility in the areas that tend to tighten and restrict movement in the mountain biker.

What’s included:

 

  • 13 week progressive strength training program.

 

  • 2-3 workouts each week delivered to your inbox weekly via online coaching portal / app.

​

  • Additional mobility work delivered to your inbox weekly via online coaching portal / app.

​

  • Video demos with detailed instructions of each exercise.

​

  • Initial movement pattern assessment with personalized feedback.

​

  • Compliance tracking and record keeping:  Ability to mark each workout as complete and keep track of your progress.

  • Periodic check ins to ensure you are on the right track and to iron out any questions you may have.​

Designed with all seasons in mind!  Ride with increased endurance, speed, strength, and confidence!

This ongoing strength training program will compliment your mountain biking by:

  • Tailoring the programming to match the current season, ensuring it enhances without detracting from your riding and training regime.

  • A continual focus on improving your overall strength through the refinement of foundational movement patterns and a strong foundation.

  • Incorporating exercises specific to the sport to address key attributes crucial for mountain biking.

  • Aiding in the prevention of typical mountain bike injuries by correcting imbalances.

  • Improving mobility in areas that are prone to restriction in mountain bikers.
